Pay attention to using cooling water for tractors in winter
When the temperature reaches below zero in winter, in order to prevent freezing and cracking of components such as the cylinder body and water tank, the water in the tractor water tank should be drained, and this drainage is very meticulous.
1. Don't rush to release water after the homework season ends. In winter, the temperature is low and the outdoor temperature is generally around 0 degrees Celsius. If the engine is turned off, cooling water should be discharged. At this time, due to the high temperature of the engine body reaching around 90 degrees Celsius, the temperature difference with the outside world is large, and the cooling speed is fast, which can easily cause cracks in the water tank, engine parts, cylinder heads, etc. At this time, the engine should be idle for 5-6 minutes, and the water should be discharged after the temperature drops to 50-60 degrees Celsius.
2. When discharging water, pay attention to the condition of the water. If the tractor is used for a long time, scale and impurities can easily exist in the water discharge switch, causing the switch to block, causing the cooling water to not be fully discharged, and thus causing the engine to freeze and crack. Therefore, the operator should carefully observe the water discharge situation. If the water flow is not smooth, the water discharge switch should be unblocked to allow the entire cooling water inside the machine to be discharged.
3. After draining, shake the crankshaft several times to drain the water. When large and medium-sized tractors turn on the drain switch to drain water, they often cannot fully drain the cooling water in the water tank. Some of the cooling water still remains in the water channel, and there is still a possibility of freezing the body. Therefore, after draining the cooling water in the water tank in winter, the crankshaft should be turned several times to drain the water in the waterway.
4. Do not start the fire before adding water when the homework is started. After the tractor starts, the engine temperature rises sharply, and the combustion chamber temperature can instantly reach over 1000 degrees Celsius. Therefore, if cold water is suddenly added to the water tank, it is easy to cause cracks in the body, cylinder sleeve, cylinder head, and vortex chamber insert due to sudden cooling, and the piston, connecting rod, etc. will also be deformed. The correct method is to fill the water tank with 80 degrees hot water before starting.
